September 26, 2014:  A Matter of Dollars & Sense: Climate Change, Carbon Standards and Public Health- this upcoming event will explore the current state of climate change and beliefs held about this issue by the American public.  More information here.


July 24, 2014:  Concern continues over water contamination in the aftermath of the chemical spill in the Elk River in Charleston, West Virginia this past January.  The 2015 OEHA Annual Educational conference will feature a keynote presentation on this topic.  More information here.

July 8, 2014:  Kent State University College of Public Health is now offering a MPH in Public Heath Policy which is 100% available online.  More information here.


March 20, 2014:   Governor John Kasich unveiled his “Mid-Biennium Review” (MBR) legislation yesterday as HB 472, which is a more policy heavy document compared to budget correction bills from previous General Assemblies.  Click here for highlights on this new legislation.


November 21, 2013:  Applications are now being accepted for the 2014 George Eagle Memorial Scholarships.  Each year, OEHA awards $2,000 scholarships to one undergraduate and one graduate student pursuing a degree in environmental health or a related field.  Click here for more information, or look under George Eagle Scholarship Committee on the Standing Committees page.


OEHA is pleased to provide its members with the finalized report on The Environmental Health Profession: A Continuing Dialogue. This report compiles the thoughts that were put together by attendees at the 2011 AEC.
