Calling All Future Environmental Health Leaders:
The Ohio Environmental Health Association is proud to present the 2024 Environmental Health Leaders Professional Development Series. The intended audience are Registered Environmental Health Specialists with 3-5 years of experience who are ready to learn more about how to lead a team of EH professionals. You do not have to be in a current leadership position to be eligible to attend.
This two day course will be held on November 13 and 14, 2024 at Delaware Public Health District (470 S. Sandusky Street, Delaware, Oh 43015). The Membership and Professional Development committee has been hard at work gathering the best speakers in the State, who will cover the most important topics for EH leaders including:
- How to hire, develop and KEEP Environmental Health Specialists. Learn how to set your team up for success!
- Identifying and leveraging strengths of your team
- Keys to effective communication
- How to tell a story using data
- Cost analysis methods to help maximize resources
- Navigating the universe of fiscal operations
- How to set up enforcement systems to improve compliance
Along with the topics above, attendees can expect the following perks.
- Strengthsfinder® book and summary of strengths for each attendee.
- Opportunities to bond with other EH professionals
- Free food (snacks, coffee, etc…)
