Susan Jagers, Executive Director

Susan joined AOHC as its Executive Director in March 2025. Prior to joining AOHC, Susan served as a director of a nonprofit, was a partner in a government affairs consulting firm, and managed a government relations department for a large health nonprofit. Melanie Schott, Director of Operations and Member Services

Melanie joined AOHC as the Director of Operations and Member Services in August 2025. With 19 years of experience in state and local government, her career spans key roles at the Ohio Department of Administrative Services, the Ohio House of Representatives, the Ohio Air Quality Development Authority, the U.S. Department of Energy, and the Village/Township of Granville. Saloni Prajapati, Administrative Assistant

Saloni Joined AOHC as Administrative Assistant in September 2025. In this role, she supports both general and financial administrative operations, helping to keep daily processes running smoothly for AOHC and Local Public Health Services Collaborative. Denise Ross, BSBA, Meetings Coordinator

Denise has been with AOHC since May 2022.  She plans all of AOHC's educational offerings and provides administrative support for association board and committee meetings.  She can be reached at (614) 781-9556 Extension 24.

Wayne Howlett, LPHSC Business Manager

Wayne accepted this position in July 2022.  He comes to the role with many years of experience in medical billing and practice management.  He and his staff are moving the Local Public Health Services Collaborative (LPHSC) forward with centralized contracting, credentialing, billing, and EHR support to help AOHC member health departments streamline clinical operations.
