Please allow me to introduce myself...

As the newly elected Southwest District Director I would like to introduce myself.  My name is Dan Gierse and I work for the Cincinnati Health Department as a Registered Sanitarian.  I have been a sanitarian for about 10 years mostly inspecting food services.  As District Director I hope to continue the success of last years Fall Conference with great speakers and timely topics.  I would like to personally invite you to become involved in this years conference in any way you feel you can contribute.  We are always looking for new ideas, speakers, and interesting topics to bring the best educational opportunities to our members.   If you have wanted to get involved there are positions on the planning committee, technical committees, and other areas.  Ideas and/or suggestions can be sent to dan.gierse@cincinnati-oh.gov or to District Director Elect Tom Bell at bell.ct@pg.com. The Southwest District Planning Committee will begin meeting at the end of January to start planning the 2012 Fall Conference.
